Services We Offer
Workshops
Our workshops are interactive, safe spaces designed to encourage
open and honest conversations around mental health.
Each session introduces the work behind Hope Bags and explores
why this project is so important, highlighting the realities of
arriving on a psychiatric ward and the difference small acts of
kindness can make.
Participants are then invited to take part in a meaningful
activity, such as:
-
Writing Messages of Hope for individuals currently
struggling with their mental health which are then put into
our Hope Bags
-
Helping to pack Hope Bags that will be distributed to
patients
These sessions combine education with action, ensuring
participants leave not only more informed, but knowing they have
made a real difference.
Mental Health Talks
Our talks are powerful, honest, and rooted in real experience.
Delivered by founder Bethan Evans, these sessions share the
story behind Hope Bags, offering insight into the importance of
dignity, compassion, and connection in mental health care.
As part of the session, we introduce the impact of Hope Bags and
invite audiences to actively contribute by:
- Writing Messages of Hope
- Supporting the packing of bags (where appropriate)
This creates a deeper connection to the cause, turning a talk
into something people can be part of, not just listen to.
Donation & Bag Packing Events
These events combine giving, learning, and action. Participants
are invited to donate essential items for Hope Bags before
coming together to pack them. We also take time to explain the
purpose behind the project and the difference each contribution
makes.
These events are a powerful way to:
- Connect with the cause in a hands-on way
- Understand the importance of the work
- Contribute to something meaningful as a group
This creates a full-circle experience. People don’t just donate,
they actively take part in creating something that will support
someone at a difficult moment in their life.
